Longboardharp II

2019

Longoardharp II has 8 strings. Just like the first Longboardharp, its string action is rounded, which favors playing with a bow. All strings can be bowed individually. To stimulate individual harmonics, it is sufficient to lightly touch the string at the corresponding vibration node while simultaneously stroking it with the bow.

8 strings:  plain piano wire

plank:  poplar multiplex stained, varnished

body & soundboard: originally birch plywood, now replaced by

a mahogany body with an alpine spruce soundboard
