The fifth Longboardharp has a number of new features. Four of its eight strings are equipped with semitone flaps, which allows quick scale changes and leads to a wider musical range. In addition, all the strings are eqipped with a fine tuning mechanism .

The soundbox can be mounted in three different positions: in the middle as in all previous models, sideways, as in Longboardharp IV and in the 1/3 position, which divides the strings in a ratio of 1:2 making the strings on one side sound one octave higher than on the other.
