The Face of SUPERMARKET was produced during the SUPERMARKET Independent Art Fair Stockholm in 2019.
84 exhibitors, visitors and organizers (50% female, 50% male) volunteered to participate in the project.
Each participant was asked to have a one-minute video portrait taken while looking straight into the camera.
In postproduction, the individual videos were stabalized, scaled on the eyes and superimposed to create one
With every single video taken from a different position, the background is a compression of the activity on the fair. The soundtrack consists of 84 ambient recordings.
The result is a 20 minutes video-loop that represents the face of SUPERMARKET 2019.
